A large cracking noise escaped into the narrow staircase that Leaf had managed to stumble across in her mindless adventure. The air blew through the passage way at a slow pace, it holding an instant chill to it. Nothing else seemed to even lighten the atmosphere of the area that the brunette had found herself walking along - the lights flickering, near enough reaching the ultimate darkness in which seemed to be approaching. Leaf found it entirely strange that some where progressively near the top of the academy would be so dark in contrast to eh burning sunshine that reined its glory outside.
Adjusting the black cardigan that caressed her petite form, Leaf continued on through out the corridor that seemed to have magically latched onto her short attention span, her once white conversed feet forcing small echoes of footsteps to chorus throughout the area. Endless doodles had been drawn aimlessly upon the once dazzling white converse, their quality obviously lowered with the rips and tugs that had been inflicted forcefully over time. Ignoring the progressing loudness of her own footsteps, Leaf continued up the corridor, unaware that she'd found herself climbing a set of stairs subconsciously.
When yet another crack echoed out, her mind once more latched onto the current situation, causing Leaf's midnight gaze to widen faintly. In sudden determination, Leaf's gaze darkened as she stared up the seemingly endless staircase - the creaks and cracks echoing louder within her voice clouded mind. Each voice seemed to mock her, mutters of pathetic status and situation. This caused her to frown and let out a weak growl, palm trailing the ice cold walls, fingertips twitching at the impact of the sudden temperature. Pulling her other hand threw her loose locks of raven, she forced her determination to send her up the forever creaking and cracking staircase.
What had lead Leaf to wonder over to such an area in the first place had not obviously logged itself in her mind, and she preferred to keep it like this seeing as it would cause her to become doubtful.
After moments of time that where soon forgotten, the flooring soon evened out to a soft wooden one, it not feeling safe - even compared to the staircase that had brought very small horror to the girl. Glancing around the new found area, her eyes widened even more as she noticed the sudden opening that lead to the clear blue sky of that afternoon. Her gaze remained up above as she walked slowly - unaware of an especially weak floorboard.
A screech left her plump crimson lips as her foot penetrated it, causing her to shrink some what in hight. Multiple curses of irritation and anger where unleashed in an angered rant, most under her breath - yet some escaping into unknown yells. She wasn't sure how long it took her to officially calm down, but by noticing the plank of wood in which her foot impaled fly across the room at a harsh speed, she knew she was calm. After all, the force she'd impacted being this throw had caused the plank to shatter into multiple pieces. Just seeing that minor phase of destruction caused a form of peace and relief to relish Leaf's form as she shook out her currently torn jean leg, the blood from the wood tearing her skin visible.
Such a thing didn't bother her, for she knew it wold heal over time...
Besides, no one else was here...
Leaf's gaze rotated around the suddenly quiet room, cautiously.
No one was there....right?
