If you woke up one day with the ability to read minds, would you use them to find out everyone's secrets? If you got into a fight with your parents and set the kitchen on fire, would you use it as a weapon against your enemies? If you pushed the door just a little too hard and knocked it off it's hinges, would you overpower everyone who stood in your way?
Some of you might join the Vervain Underground, a sort of safe house for anyone who has to deal with these strange abilities. They're out there, rescuing augmented youths from trouble and mayhem.
Others might join the Thistle Guild, a secret group of augmented youths who are seeking revenge on the people who did this to them in the first place.
The Juniper Corporation, a government funded organization, is doing their best to eradicate these abilities, at the cost of a new generation.
So would you pick the safe route?
