|outfit| Leaf had previously spent the earlier hours of the afternoon lounging in the small area she'd found to call her own dorm. Though, the only attraction surrounding such a place was indeed the quiet it provided her - along with the obvious supply of entertainment. Sarcasm dripped from each thought as she made her way out of the double arched doors she found no joy in waisting energy in opening, her footsteps silent through the small voices that left those souls surrounding her. Her midnight gaze kept directly ahead as she attempted to look for something entertaining, her lips pursed in evidence of irritation.
Her hands dover into the depths of her back pockets, provided by the violent shaded purple shorts that graced her lower half. There seemed to be nothing available to her wandering form as she made her way down the bricked paving that surrounded the outer of the school, a large sigh escaping as she growled in the lightest signs of frustration. It had been clear she had no particular intentions when casually gracing her presence outside, though she had hoped for there to be something that would attract her attention. Continuing to take slow and leisurely steps, she found her head glancing up toward the evening sky - clouds growing black as though injected with a slowly progressing ink. A light view of expression flickered among her face as she continued her calm pace, hands never revealing themselves from the depths of her pockets.
It wasn't until her footfall collided onto something a lot more soft that she stopped, raising an arched brow. Grass. The lush feel of it against her pump covered feet gave the brunette a small sense of relaxation as she took this time to glance around hr surroundings once more. Subconsciously, she had managed to wander toward the sports field, though only a few of the buffoons jacked up enough to continue their exercise until now remained. Leaf found faint amusement in seeing them work so hard - all pushing in so much effort.
Taking into consideration she seriously had nothing better to do at that precise moment, she gracefully clamored up onto the metal benches that provided the tiniest form of sanctuary for those in need of rest. Settling herself down without another care, she stretched out her legs and slumped into a comfortable position. Leaning her elbows behind on the upper flooring of the steps above, she allowed a smile to grace her olive features as she found some point to her venture outside.
The light nip in the cold air didn't bother to phase her as she lounged more content, watching a few of the young men darting around like fools. As one fell, she felt her grin grow all the more in amusement. At least she had some form of entertainment now - live and breathing. Even the fact that no one else had situated themselves along those benches didn't bring a new irritation. Though, Leaf's mind seemed to focus on keeping an eye on the few idiots that continued to trip in their exercise. Oh the fun of it...

Okay, so gym class had ended about three hours ago. So what? It wasn't as if Jax had stayed on the sports fields for the entire time. In fact, he had gone back up to his room, taken care of some business, changed, and then came back down about an hour ago. And better yet, it wasn't as if he was messing around with those buffoons who called themselves studs on the actual fields. No, what Jax was doing was so much better. He was running. In circles actually. For the past hour, Jax had started running around the campus, only recently moving to the track, where he was occassionally hitting the hurdles. Though, he wasn't very good at the hurtles. Every once in awhile he would freak at the last second and mentally fling them to the side. But whatever, it's not like anyone would say anything to him. They were to afraid, and justifiably so.
So, as Jax continued running in his sleeveless shirt and gym shorts, he watched the stupid little boys fool around, occassionally catching one fall on their faces. As he turned a corner and got a closer look, he realized they were all underclassmen, which translated into Jax not knowing a single one. Oh well, it didn't matter. Continuing to watch, he noticed the ball they were kicking around and got an idea. Just as the one kid, who was definitely showing off for his friends, went to kick the sphere, Jax rolled it slightly to the left telekinetically, right out of the boy's reach. Jax chuckled and refocused on the last lap after watching the boy fall to his face. He started sprinting, rounding the curve, and heading for the line, until he saw a rather attractive looking girl sitting on one of the benches. A pretty face and hot body was all the distraction jax would need to stop flat in his tracks.
Bending over for breath, Jax looked up at the girl and then stood up, pulling at his compression shorts. Man, those things were uncomfortable. He then proceded to stick his hands down his pants and situate himself in the tight fabric. Hey, a guy needs to have his assets comfortably laid out. With one hand still down his pants, just out of habit, Jax laid the other on his head and continued to catch his breath. He looked back at the kid, who was now sitting down, apparently exaggerating his fall for attention. Jax rolled his eyes, dropped his hand from his head, and reloctaed his other hand to where the waistband of his compression shorts laid on his back. He was airing himself out as he walked up to where the girl sat, taking his on seat and adjusting himself once more. "You look entertained," he said as he watched the stupid underclassmen.

The fainest yawn echoed out from Leaf as she stretched her arms into the air. A small noise escaped, it barely describable as she soon relaxed into her previous slouching position - legs raised just that little bit higher. For the past few minuets, the oafs darting around the fields had managed to stay on their feet, no accidents following for some time. Such a fact disappointed her, for it seemed her entertainment was starting to shrink. Though, the thought of having to wander around the school grounds once more in search of further entertainment did not exactly spike her interest. After all, she'd only just managed to get into a barley comfortable position herself - one she didn't wish to leave just quite yet. Just as another yawn escaped out into the open, her peach shaded lids fluttered multiple times as she noticed one boy.
It had been clear he had been boasting about his skills, easily directing the ball from one side of the pitch to another. It just struck her as amazingly odd to see him fall so suddenly, the dirt easily noticed flying into the air some what as his whole front body collided with the ground. Not wishing to dwell on the odd nature of the fall, she allowed her grin to flood onto her face as she laughed, only to pleased to have seen it. That fall had been much more entertaining than the previous, and the sudden uproar he was causing from it seemed to enlighten the mood even more. Her laugh echoed out some what, it light as she shook her head. Idiots...that was truly one grand word to describe them. It was fun to watch the scene unfold, the young boys exclamations and flying arms being extremely exaggerated as he once again returned to boasting. Who knew it was legible to boast over the fact he had fallen after such a good performance? This was news to Leaf, and her brow rose once more. The word idiot seemed to rear its head once more in her mind, tempted to escape in a call to them.
It was only when the sudden hint of paranoia kicked in that she noticed someone making their way toward her. Having felt a gaze lingering, the sudden goosebumps had taken a toll on her frail, olive arms. Trying not to seem to alert to this, she allowed her midnight gaze to gently over look the area, before taking into full consideration who it was that was making their way over. Her expression relaxed some what as she tried not to look as though she'd noticed, her arms remaining relaxed behind her as she pursed her lips. She had to try and not snicker at the adjustments he was making - herself finding it even more amusing. Her humor wasn't exactly to easy to trigger, but such situations often sent her into giggles.
Remaining in her blank and relaxed composure, she continued to watch as the arguments over the young mans fall began to begin on the pitch. Determined not to allow her gaze to falter, she kept her head directly forward as he took a seat beside her, her lip twitching faintly. Hearing him speak caught her off guard strangely, her lids fluttering once more in an attempt to look innocent. Yet, hearing what he actually said caused her to reveal the smallest smile, it more of a gentle smirk as she shook her head some what. "It's pretty funny stuff" She murmured after a while, chuckling as one of the players actually began sulking on the pitch. Biting into her lip some what to try and not laugh out loud at their behavior, she glanced toward the stranger next to her. She then managed to take in his full appearance, the glimmer of amusement flickering in her eyes. It was obvious that he'd been running - or at least taking part in some other sport. His chest seemed to move just that little quicker in breath. "Though it's usually better with the younger ones...they're much clumsier" She tried not to grin at imagining their own pathetic falls and scrapes, each image vivid in her mind. Idiotic behavior often did provide just enough entertainment to pass the time.

Continuing to watch the younger students make complete idiots out of themselves, Jax caught a couple sideways glances at his lovely benchmate. He had to admit, she was hot. And, lucky for the both of them, exercising made Jax rather eager, however, he needed to contain himself. After all, he was existing just to go around screwing people. Right? Wrong. He nearly laughed at his thoughts, however, he did realize that he had to take things slow. Just in case something other than a one night stand was feasible. Yet, he realized he was getting ahead of himself as he locked his gaze back on the boys running around on the field. Not too interested anymore in what they were doing, he tried identifying them.
There were a few he knew, maybe half a dozen, that he recognized based on reputation only. Which of course meant he hadn't talked to them, but knew who they were nonetheless. Then, there were about three or four, he couldn't remember, who he had definitely gotten to know. On the intimately personal level of course. He smirked as he identified the labrador shapeshifter, who was great at oral stimulation, and the vampire, who he discovered three nights ago was an excellent bottom. He also recognized the twin witches, but they were another story. Either way, he was rather amused watching all of those boys think they had some sort of skill to offer. Jax knew a few of them were much better in bed than kicking the ball around. Although, he wondered what they would do after they noticed the attractive girl flanking him. Then the showing off would really begin.
Snapping out of his nostalgic sex-driven state, Jax turned to look at the girl. She was playing it unusually cool around Jax, who was used to getting attention from everyone. She hadn't even looked at him as far as he could tell. "I have to agree," he said, referring to the scene being rather funny. It did, however, catch him off guard when she laughed. He wasn't expecting that. Maybe the pursued lips and the apathetic personality had all just been played because Jax was around. Well, at least that was what jax was telling himself, not able to accept that it may be because she didn't want him there. But, who knew what she was like until he pried a little deeper. "So you come to watch them make fools of themselves often then? By the way, I'm Jax."

Curious to see more accidents happen in hopes of preventing her casting small glances toward the young man next to her, Leaf tilted her head softly as she rose a brow. The arguments and small sessions of boasting began once more, nothing truly different than previously. The smallest hint of disappointment flooded out into her emotive pattern, her expression still holding the light amusement that had blossomed bright from previous moments. Though sharp in witty personality and crude remarks, the brunette was indeed an oblivious being. She often misunderstood situations, not that she could care any less. She persuaded to stretch her sinfully toned legs in front of her, finding his voice catching her off guard once more.
She could sense a faint hint of confusion lingering to him, her midnight gaze remaining on the strangers running like idiotic children along the pitch. Her eyes widened lightly as one struck an odd looking tantrum, stomping his foot in a childish manner as he stalked off. Who knew loosing could have such a ridiculous effect on people? Then again, Leaf wasn't one to be a critic seeing as she wasn't exactly a proud looser. Her own tantrums where much dangerous in proportion, but she would never reduce herself to such a pathetic extent.
Choosing not to be rude, she allowed her casual smirk to grace her features as she glanced toward him, eyes glimmering some what in the dull light the sky provided. "I had nothing better to do" She admitted honestly, tone seemingly soft and alluring as she kept her gaze on him. Hearing his light introduction, she nodded and found herself turning back with a smaller smile toward the pitch. "Leaf" She murmured softly in reply, stretching her arms lightly into the air. A sudden chill clashed against her stomach as some of the flesh managed to penetrate onto the air's view. She shuddered faintly at this, gently adjusting her shirt as she relaxed all the more into the grasp of the benches. "What brings you here then?" She questioned suddenly, unsure to why on earth she'd bother to ask. But, she had now, so what was the point in dwelling? Slowly, she turned toward Jex once more, brow rose only just - yet her crimson smirk softened to an extent it almost graced a smile.

Jax went back to watching the overly cocky underclassmen swatting the ball around. They were pathetic at this, they really were. However, when it came to the few he knew on an intimate level, they definitely made up for their athletic ineptitudeness in other areas. He would have to get back in touch with them at some point. Yet, as Jax was looking at the guys he had screwed, he couldn't help but keep turning his attention back to the girl next to him. He was ready for some feminine flesh to fuck. It had been, what, three days since he had a girl in his bed? He was getting rusty to say the least. it used to be every two nights he would have a girl in his bed. Well, at least most of the time.
Jax turned towards the girl as she spoke, checking her out. He had to admit, she was attractive, but then again, he did need to work on not seeing everyone for their attractiveness value. It wouldn't hurt to have friends that were girls, would it? Of course if he did have close friends that were girls, no one would believe that he, Jax Halestone, wasn't screwing them on the side. He exhaled, figuring that he needed to make some new immortal friends for the long haul. That was part of the reason he was here too, to make connections. What would the next two-hundred years be without some sort of friends? And the years following? He needed at least some social contact other than physically being inside his connections.
"Unique name," Jax responded, attempting to make eye contact. When it seemed as though she was trained onto the boys playing around, Jax joined her line of sight, looking at them, but not really watching. "Hmm, couldn't find anything else to do?" Jax questioned. He was sure that if she had really wanted she could have done something. But anyway, he wouldn't pry. "I was just exercising. Been running for the past hour." Jax nodded, noting that the conversation was headed for a slow death. He had to do something to salvage it. "I figured I'd go back, shower, and maybe hit the club later, though. What about you? Anything fun planned?"

Judging over the unfamiliar faces that Leaf's midnight gaze had previously over looked, it struck her as faintly depressing to have not known one of them. Most of this was her own fault, seeing as she wasn't one to socialize to well in situations. Despite her often sarcastic yet friendly responses to those she did befriend, a remark that she found unsettling would often put her in the darkened light of the bad guy. Honestly, she couldn't really help her violent reactions when in arguments. It was just her fiery attitude to blame - along with in kept emotion. Then again, such strong argumentative skills could sometimes be noted as a grand value to those who she held within talkative terms - such a number small.
She found it faintly odd to notice how much he tried to hold her gaze - her oblivious aloof aura once again prevailing as her smirk remained casual. Though, it was subconsciously deteriorating to a much more innocent content expression. "Thanks..." She murmured in a soft chime of a response to the comment made on her name, though she found it to be for once, a sane reply. Often, people would raise a brow in amusement at her name. Such events would often lead to a glower on Leaf's behalf. Though, her own amusement flickered within her eyes as she finally allowed hers to lock with those of Jax's, gaze more relaxed than previously. "Fun?" She scoffed, shaking her head as her grin grew, nose scrunching in such a way it lead from feisty to the oddest accompaniment of cute. Her teeth bared as she tried to prevent her grin from growing to wide - for it would often soften her appearance up to much.
Leaf was one to be on guard often, a serious flaw to herself. "If you consider literally wandering as fun...then yeah" She commented, diverting her gaze as she rolled her eyes with a light chuckle. Inwardly, she found herself admitting she needed to gain more out of life. Then again, what could she possibly do without looking either insane or lonesome? Maybe the concept of a club might hold some value to the brunette...though, scheming wasn't exactly within her current form of mind. Not for now anyway. "Any particular club in mind?" She questioned almost in her own daze, her inner mind over thinking everything. Jax...such name held the smallest pry of familiarity. She detested to feel so clueless in such situations, but her stubborn side prevented her from questioning any more.
With a silent sigh, her legs retreated to a normal seated positioned stance, her head resting on her palms lightly as she relaxed into a more casual position. Joy.
