TIMID
Blue Jay is a timid boy. He always was. He isn't one to perform in front of hundreds of people or laugh his ass off randomly in the middle of a conversation. He's always to the side, simply listening. It's not that he doesn't like participating because he can and when he does get very passionate about something, he really gets into it. But, mostly, he just likes listening, figuring things out and not really getting involved unless he has to or thinks it's necessary to do so. This might come from his rabbit side, or this side might've decided that he was going to be a rabbit. You never really know.
INNOCENCE
or lack there of
At first, you might look at him and his personality and think that he's innocent or naive. He doesn't know about the world, so he can't know anything about human emotion and the reasons why people do things. But, most of this timidness and shyness comes from experiencing too much. Of course, he'd always been quiet, but not like this. He's experienced so much in his life, some of it devastating and some of it harmful to himself. He has scars and scrapbooks to show it. He's made new friends, new boyfriends and girlfriends, had people very close to him die, had his parents reject him violently because he told them he was gay, and other things that just have broken him down over the years. He's not innocent, at least not in the sense that we think of, and he's not naive. Far from it. But, one thing he is scared of: having it happen again.
FRIENDLINESS
He's one of the best friends anyone could ask for. He's always there for you and sometimes, he's just human and he gets annoyed, but he's always there to help you through whatever you need helping through. He dislikes people who laugh at others because their weak and he fights for those weak people, although it's a bit hard for him to fight physically, but he's very fast and his legs are very strong, and he can kick some ass if he ever wanted to, but mostly he's a pacifist and helps in anyway he can. If that just so happens to be violence, so be it. But that's a last resort for him.
STUBBORNNESS
Blue Jay is a very stubborn boy. He decides on something and he keeps that path unless someone really convinces him that he's wrong. He hates being wrong as well, so he denies it whenever he really is. He hates look stupid and seeming to be a stupid little kid. He hates being a kid because everyone thinks he's a lower human being. That's simply how it is with kids. He's not immature, he just makes more mistakes than most people and he hates it. He has little silent tantrums when something doesn't go his way or he finds out he's wrong and he doubts himself. That's a huge thing: he doubts himself. He doubts his looks, his personality, his ability to be with someone...
FORGETFULNESS
He's a very forgetful guy, enough to have both short and long term memory disorder, although he usually remembers in the long term by pictures. He always takes pictures with a polaroid camera that hangs around his neck of things he likes so that he can never forget them. He's got the memory of a rabbit, which surprisingly isn't all that good. He has pictures of Max, of his parents, of his sister, and of other people. He loves every single one because it reminds him of who he is.
SECRETS
He has a lot of secrets. Some are smaller than others, but large ones include a saddening memory of his lover, Max, die when he was slightly younger. Another is that... he needs the love of someone, always. He's very dependent on others and he hates it, but he can't help it. The secret is that he's in love with Raven. Yes, his brother. He hates this secret, but he can't change it. Every time he looks at Raven, something stirs and he can't push it down.

CHILDHOOD
"I was born on November 19th and I was a quiet baby. I did cry, obviously, but it was much less than regular babies did. All the time, I was just scared. I didn't show that fright by crying or screaming, but I got visibly paranoid. Even when I was a kid, I was always looking over my shoulder and being jumpy just in general. Of course, that probably had to do with my rabbit side which I found out I could turn into later. We shape-shifters don't change until we've gotten past infancy. Meaning, no baby bunnies for you, but toddler bunnies, yes. My parents were nice parents, mostly. Not too angry but not too nice either. They paid attention to me enough to keep me from going off the deep end, but enough to keep me timid, shy and angry."
TWEENAGER
"When I was a "Tween", I was even more timid than I was now because I was questioning my sexuality. I truly was. I liked girls enough, but I was starting to look at more boys now and it was scaring me, especially because I knew that my father would flip out. He did, too. He beat me up and knocked me down when I told him that it was possible that I might like guys as well as girls. My mom wasn't as extreme, but she was still angry. She always followed dad. so, when I was thirteen, I ran away with Raven. He and I were twins: unseperable and smart when we were apart, destructively genius. We figured out how to get money (although not in a very nice way) and to get a room at a local motel. We went to school, because we didn't want to miss out, but when we hit fourteen, we both were shipped off to this place via kidnapping."
MAX
"Max. Oh Max. I met him when I was sixteen and he was my first love. My first, true, undeniable love. He was amazing, talented at guitar and singing, funny and smart. He was a demon, too, which was surprising in itself. I loved him and he loved me. We went out and were even planning to get married when he got pulled into the game. The damn game. How do I know of this game? Ha. Tanicus. Tanicus is... well, was my friend. I dealt with him whenever he got angry, but he didn't treat me well back. He let it slip that he was in the Squad and that he had partaken in the killing of Max because he himself was a demon. Of course, I'm sworn to secrecy, but I know what's going on. I just can't deal with it if I'm next. I don't want to be next, but they have every reason to make me go next in this stupid, violent game of theirs."
NOW
"I'm just living my life, trying to be the best I can and still be careful of those around me. I'm cautious, maybe a little too cautious because I knew exactly what is going on and who it is going on which and I don't trust them. Not at all. I'm not very out there, but I still like messing around. I love my friends and they love me, hopefully, and my brother... Well, my brother and I are close. Closer than any twins really should be, but he's my only vice, the only thing that keeps me sane."
