{ welcome to 2012 }
the time of chaos, the time of fear
on november 2011 the united states' president was killed by clark kent better known as the superhero superman. kent was arrested and later executed going down in history as one of the greatest terrorist the usa had ever seen. the murder also caused superheroes to become unpopular and eventually outlawed. the motives of the murder were never known and while many retired, some superheroes decided to work outside of the law and figure out what truly happened that day.

illegal hero activity grew quickly and while some were caught and arrested the message never seem to be understood, heroes where no longer wanted nor liked. the government then began a genocide towards heroes, both the active and the retired. however, due to the fact that many heroes had secret identities this was not an easy task and the operation was kept a secret with the deaths of heroes occasionally occurring without explanations.
xx
it was not until the murder of jason reed, amanda collette, william drake and andrew belmont, founders of the once active infinity league, that the pattern was finally noticed. at this time many heroes decided to flee to other countries or even planets and hide away while others decided to fight back. thus a kind of civil war began with the heroes fighting the government who's technology had evolved enough for them to gain the upper hand.
xx
with the city in chaos some heroes took another path, to find out the motives behind the presidents murder. someone as righteous as marvel must have had some reason to kill him, or maybe he was just corrupted... either way what's done is done, no going back.

there are those that will always remain
