[x]. Spencer Heights at a Glance .[x]
1667. A new, private, boarding school and college, Twilight Academy and Spencer University was founded by Maede Spencer, a wealthy Irish heiress. Built on the lands that would soon become the neighboring town to Dublin, Ireland. It was constructed, out of an old Catholic monastery then, as a higher [8-12] to college education for the poor young students, preparing them for a successfully gifted future. However, as the country changed, so did the school. In 1714 - Maede Spencer passed away at the age of 78, thus the schools - under the management of Cori S. O’Malley - began to offer classes for students all around the globe.
[x]. The Mission .[x]
Spencer Heights is a coeducational boarding school and college. These schools pride themselves in the family atmosphere that allows the school to provide a caring and supportive learning environment that meets the needs of individual students on a intellectual and social level. They serve a student body of diverse cultures and abilities.
As a part of our mission, we provide an academic environment that seeks to train each student to think independently, read critically, and communicate clearly in an ever-changing society. Our extracurricular programs seek to develop not only talents - and “special abilities” - and social skills, but also a sense of community and fair play. Overall, our mission is to provide a program to challenge each student to reach out to their own unique potential.
[x]. The Reality of it ALL .[x]
It is now 2150. The provost Elaine Wellington, a strong-willed, influential woman, takes control over the Academy and College as her husband, Dean Wellington continues to teach alongside various other high school and college professors. Day by day, students shuffle in - nerves wracked and emotionally drained, all willing to continue with a normal life among others with supernatural abilities like themselves...
Although Spencer Heights is a well organized school system, that offers so many possibilities to the students that attend, it also has a dark past, and an even dark future if nothing is to be done... The Disease is spreading through incoming students like wildfire, damaging their internal organs and rendering them immobile in comas about the world… Slowly, it seems that Spencer Heights - the last Disease free school - is falling prey to it. Could the Seekers of yore be back, nipping at the schools’ ankles? Or could it be some new, alien force out to destroy these children?
Welcome to Spencer Heights.
