With the help of Paul Kellerman and his connections, Michael, Sara, Lincoln and the gang are free. They are living happily in Chicago. Sara and Michael are engaged, Lincoln is dating Sofia and living with his son, LJ, again. Things couldn't be going any better. The Company is defeated, and General Jonathan Krantz (a.k.a. The Pad Man) was imprisoned within the walls of Fox River State Pen. Life is finally good.
Unfortunately, while the Company has been seriously wounded, they're not down and out just yet. General Krantz has broken out of Fox River and is orchestrating a massive ressurrection of his old Company with the help of a few familiar faces, such as Gretchen Morgan and Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell, who is furious for being turned in to the police by Michael and Lincoln. Even Caroline Reynolds, who was believed to be imprisoned is coming out of hiding to help the General in his mission. And they're getting closer and closer to succeeding.
Scylla has been destroyed, but that's not discouraging the General. He's coming after those that wronged him, starting with Michael and Lincoln and their family. His mercenaries hide everywhere in the country, and he's managed to regain an amount of his old power. Rest assured he won't quit until the world is in the palm of his hand again.
It's an all-too-familiar tune, and for Michael and Lincoln, having to fight for their
lives feels like home.
